We are into our 3rd season and are looking forward to even more guests at Highfields.   We saw many 'returners' in 2009 and our special wishes go to Sarah & Mark - our top couple with sisters Leigh & Sara trying to overtake them!  Over 16,000 people have viewed our site since we started, which is pretty amazing. 

We have met some really fabulous people - thanks to all of you.  We have had several weddings (and honeymoons), lots of birthdays and anniversaries, visitors from US, Holland and South Africa, and lots of you who just love Wells and visit again and again and again and will probably end up living here.  Many of you have wanted to take DJ  home with you but she has now gone to live in the next village with my daughter and we have a new tabby cat called Stanley as well as our lovely Cocker Spaniel Woody.  We had a great summer in 2009 with loads of sunshine - despite the rest of the country moaning about the lack of the promised 'barbeque' summer.  We certainly got more than our fair share but as we  say "It's always sunny in Wells!"

Gresh and I look forward to meeting many of you again - but don't leave it too late as dates  go really quickly!!!
