Highfields has had a fantastic first season - better than we could have expected!  Over 7,500 people have viewed our site since we started in March, which is pretty amazing. 

We have met some really fabulous people - thanks to all of you.  We have had a wedding, 2 first birthdays, several grown up birthdays, a 40th wedding anniversary, visitors from US, Holland and South Africa, and lots of you who just love Wells and visit again and again and again.  We had a lovely lady who decided to run away and join the circus, people who have cried to be leaving and great children who looked after the chickens (thanks especially to Blay and Ace).  Lots of you have wanted to take DJ and Jasper home with you (they currently have their bags packed due to the arrival of our new Cocker Spaniel puppy Woody!).  Apologies to those who got some pretty awful weather but enjoyed themselves anyway - we'll try to order more sunshine next year.  We shall be uploading some new photos soon so keep looking. 

Gresh and I look forward to meeting many of you again - but don't leave it too late as dates for 2008 are already going quickly!!!
