Norfolk can be very dark of an evening and sometimes our guests have trouble finding us.  Easy way is:  Entering Wells from Fakenham on the Dry (no pubs!!) Road (B1105), stay on this road - do not turn off at the Wells Town Sign pointing towards the beach and town but veer round to your left.  Horses should be on your left and houses on your right.  Carry on past allotments until houses on your right run out (about 150 yards).  We are last big house (only bungalow is past us) on the right opposite Poppy's (the horse) field.  If you get as far as the cottage hospital you have gone too far.

We are on the edge of Wells and in one of the best locations as we are the highest point in town - hence Highfields, which gives us great views of the surrounding countryside as well as the sea but it is still an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, pubs and wine bar.  Holkham estate with its huge lake, beautiful stately home, deer and wonderful grounds is a few minutes walk down the road and our fantastic sandy beaches with their amazing beach huts (ours is No.18) are also within easy reach.
